Challenge

The industrial site contained damaged asbestos materials within an occupied building that required partial closure. Sections of the structure were deteriorated, increasing the risk of airborne fibre release. Large open spaces, exposed steel columns, and high ceilings made containment more challenging. The client needed the work completed safely while maintaining as much operational continuity as possible.

Solution

Our team built a full internal enclosure system using timber framing and heavy grade polythene sheeting to isolate the affected zones. Negative pressure units and HEPA filtration systems were installed to maintain safe air control throughout the project. Licensed operatives carried out the asbestos removal under strict conditions, with all materials securely bagged and transported to an approved disposal facility. The site was handed back clean and ready for further refurbishment works.
